A hands-on summer experience that takes camp to a new level for children entering 1st through 6th grade! No more lazy summer days, cannon balling little sisters in the pool, rocking out to Hannah Montana, or driving Mom crazy. A revolutionary idea is in the works – kids transforming our city for Christ!
It is going to be big.
It is going to be bold.
It is going to radical.
It is Mission Possible 2! In small group multi-age teams, kids will make new friends, explore the Bible, and spend time volunteering in our community! The camp will be headquartered at Marvin Wright Elementary School on Derryberry Lane from 8 a.m. to noon each day with the children volunteering in the community from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Before and after serving each day, the children will work on team building, run obstacle courses, and participate in other fun experiences all designed to teach one of five Christian principles related to serving others. The children will be challenged to apply the principles of trusting God, doing your best, no complaining, loving others, and being courageous while serving our community.
Have fun Be a volunteer. Make an impact.
Each day the children will go to different locations for a total of five different volunteer experiences throughout the week. Many organizations in Spring Hill and our surrounding community are looking forward to the work the children will do for them. Several groups will spend a morning hosting a food drive for The Well Food Pantry, which serves families in Spring Hill. Other ways the children will serve include landscaping at City Hall, visiting senior adults and completing jobs around their homes, baking and taking goodies to the Spring Hill Fire Department and Police Station, assembling family care packets for Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, and more. The biggest service project of the week will be a food drive. The children will canvas several subdivisions in Spring Hill leaving a grocery bag for residents to fill with nonperishable goods. Later in the week the children will pick up the filled grocery bags and deliver them to The Well Food Pantry.
The cost of the camp is $10 per child with a max of $20 per family. The registration fee will cover a camp t-shirt and supplies for the volunteer projects. Preregistration is required.

Safety Concerns? The safety of your child is our top priorioty. The children will be transported in 15-passenger and mini vans. Booster seats will be used by children as required by state law. If your child is in a booster seat, he/she will receive an identification tag for their seat upon registration. We will help your child load and unload his/her seat each day. While volunteering in the community, the children will be supervised with a ratio of 1 adult to 5 children. Some groups will have more adult supervision depending on the nature of the service project. We have carefully planned fun and engaging volunteer projects with safety and supervision in mind. In addition to safety on volunteer sites, we will also guard your child's safety through drop off and pick up procedures. You will sign your child in each morning and will be required to have an assigned identification tag to pick up your child each day.
